This is messed up, anyone could just walk in there and buy one of those high powered assault rifles.

Walmart does not have a class 3 FFL. They cannot sell assault weapons. They sell modern sporting rifles, bolt action and pump action shotguns and plinking guns for teaching safe usage of firearms.
